Our review read
Before we launched Snugday, we read what people already say about cordless heat belts from other brands. We did this to decide what to fix and what to promise, and what not to promise.
What we read
- 583 review texts from 24 product pages, collected in October 2026
- Amazon (US, UK, Canada, Australia), Walmart, Target, independent Shopify stores, Etsy and eBay
- Only reviews of other brands. Snugday had no customers yet.
How we counted
We tagged repeated complaints by hand. A review that mentions several problems counts once for each. This is a careful read, not a scientific survey.
What came up most
- Battery dies fast or runs short: 60 reviews
- Stopped working or won't charge: 43
- Too hot, burns or blisters: 32
- Vibration too loud: 31
- Slow charging: 28
- Vibration too weak or unpleasant: 26
- Smaller than expected, or a small heat area: 22
- Not hot enough: 20
Amazon's own "Customers say" summaries for 14 of these listings count 1,748 battery-life mentions, 1,171 of them negative.
What we changed because of it
- Battery: we don't publish hours until we've measured our own belts, and the 2- and 3-belt bundles give you a backup.
- Heat: we tell you to start on low, wear it over a thin layer, use short sessions, and never sleep with it on.
- Vibration: it's optional, and we tell you it can hum.
